October 4th, 2012We're going to kick today off with a new release (sort of) of some old tunes. Fragments vol. 1 is the first part of a special series of releases focusing on the older Mooseka songs that I lost all my original files for. 49 songs, tons of different material, and all that vintage Mooseka you crave. You can pick it up here.
June 8th, 2012After hoarding multiple albums worth of material from the past, I am finally working on an EP for release this summer. Here are some synthesizer noises for you.
June 4th, 2012Sorry I haven't updated in a while, I have been crazy busy with shows and with other stuff. I updated the DJ Mixes page, as well as the Live page so that you can keep up with my shows. There will be lots of new material coming soon, including photos, event flyers, videos, and maybe even some new original Mooseka music? Keep you eyes on this space.
February 14th, 2012It's been a while since I've updated, but I've been incredibly busy. The weekly show at Hailey's Club is going well. We have had some excellent local talent come out and perform for us, and in a couple of weeks we are going to have Denton favorites AHAB and TREG. For more frequent updates including events and pictures, check out my Facebook.
January 3rd, 2012My live show on New Years Eve was a blast, and a ton of people showed up. You can find a recording of it in the Mixes section. Hailey's club has decided to bring me back weekly as the resident DJ on Sunday nights! Dollar Dance Nights start this Sunday at 9pm, featuring special guests DJ Sticky and DJ Sofaking. The show will be 18+ each Sunday night, and it's just $1 for 21 and older ($5 for 18+). I hope to see you out there!
December 7th, 2011I found out recently that I will be performing live December 30th and 31st at Hailey's in Denton, Texas. On the 30th I will be spinning a special 30 minute guest DJ set with the Denton Dance Collective at the New Year's Kick Off. Then, on New Year's eve, I will be accompanied by rap artists Renzo and Bitches, Blunts, and Ballin' at the New Year's Go-Go Gala. If you can't make it out to one, you should definitely try to make it to the other one. Both of them are going to be off the hook. Come support your local Denton music scene!
November 19th, 2011I have entered a mix into the Lights All Night DJ competition. It would be pretty crazy if I won, but I don't really have high expectations for it. You can check out the mix I submitted below, and you can vote for it on Facebook by clicking Here. Mooseka - Lights All Night Mix by Theoretical Limit Records
August 31st, 2011August has been a really productive month for me DJ wise, with 14 mixes (almost 5 hours of music) released. I'm playing my first small public show this weekend, and then gearing up some new original Mooseka material for my live sets as well. Eventually I am going to sit down and master the 5 hours of music I have waiting been waiting to release as well. Exciting stuff, I'm just going to keep moving forward. Thanks for listening. Make sure you click through to like my Facebook page.
July 10th, 2011Just released a short mix of some of the music I have been working on in the past couple of months, which opens with a song I just released called Implicit Memory. Check it out on my Soundcloud.

I have released my very first official pay-to-download track. Before you get upset, I left the 128kbps version of the mp3 on my website free to download. I believe that I am going to adopt this as my business model; free low quality tracks, and a small amount of money for high quality files. I am looking to set individual singles at 75 cents each and digital album downloads at $5.99, which I don't consider a terrible deal for audiophile quality files. If you would like to download the high quality version of my new song, Severing The Wings, Click Here.
In related news, there is talk of a live Mooseka set in the works! This is exciting news, but it is not the only exciting news. I would like to announce the founding of a new Texas based record label/artist collaboration called Theoretical Limit. This will not only serve as the record label releasing Mooseka albums, but also as a collection of like minded artists experimenting in any artistic medium they can think of. I am confident that 2011 is going to be an excellent year, both for my own music and for the collaborations between other Theoretical Limit artists. Stay tuned, because I have a feeling things are about to blow up!
